Laurel Caverns Rescheduled
Due to scheduling conflicts, we have rescheduled the Laurel Caverns camp out to April 28-29. Cost is still $35 per scout. Those Scouts who have Geology MB will explore the primitive portion of the cavern. We will meet at the church at 8 a.m. Saturday morning April 28 and drive to the caverns east of Uniontown, PA. Scouts must eat a good breakfast at home Saturday and bring a bag lunch for the trip. Permissions slips will be available at the Troop meetings and on the Web site.

We are still Camping out March 23-25!
Except now we're going to Muskingum Valley Council Camp in Coshocton. Cost is $10 per scout. Permission slips will be available at Tuesday's troop meeting or on the forms page here.  This is a great opportunity for rank advancement. Second and First Class cooking too! But in order to cook for advancement, you must bring a menu to the troop meeting Tuesday night in order for it to be approved.

Philmont Crew Scouts and adults
All scouts going to Philmont are strongly encouraged to attend the Muskingum campout as this is an unexpected opportunity for a Philmont Crew warm-up activity. Saturday you will backpack to another area in the camp carrying your gear, tents, food, stoves and fuel for an outpost experience. More about the Philmont portion at the Troop meeting Tuesday.

Earn $$$$ for Summer Camp!!!!
Troop 390 scouts will have the opportunity to earn money for Summer Camp by selling Lantern Took Kits at $10 each (a $39.95 value!). FirstMerit Bank donated the lanterns to the Troop to serve as a fund raiser. All money must be turned in to the Troop and 100 percent will be applied to the $190 early-bird fee, which is due May 15. Scouts can take 10 or 12 lanterns at a time. These are quality lanterns with tool kits inside. They would make wonderful gifts. A must have for every car!
