Just a few quick notes:

1. This coming Tuesday, February 19, at 7:00 p.m., is the Parents Meeting for the Great Allegheny Passage Bike Trek this summer. We spoke about it a little on Scout Sunday February 3. Please come and hear more about it, so that Scouts and Parents who are interested can be prepared to commit in March. It will truly be a great event!

2. The Spaghetti Dinner presale tickets were distributed at the Troop meeting February 11, but due to the weather, many Scouts were not there to receive the tickets. They will be available again this Tuesday. Presale tickets are really a way to advertise our event and word of mouth is the other. Please help up get out the word! March 1 is the date for the best Spaghetti Dinner available.

Sign ups for Scout and parent participation will be available at the Troop meeting this week and next.

3. Saturday February 16 was the last day to get Acme Cashback credit on the register receipts. Please put the Scout's name on each receipt and bring them to the Troop meetings. Mrs. Fresh must have the receipts no later than March 4.

4. March Campout is March 14-16, at Camp Stigwandish in Madison, Ohio, about 65 miles north of here. It is a very nice camp and a great opportunity for some Scouts to do Second Class and First Class cooking and pass some other rank requirements, too. The cost is $10.00 and permission slips are required. Permission slips will be available at the Troop meetings and from the Troop website. Drivers are needed.

5. Remember, April 19 and 20 is the Wright-Patterson Air Force Museum event in Dayton. More information will be coming in the Troop Newsletter very soon. This is a family event! Drivers are needed.
