HIGH ADVENTURE

For 2012...

The Troop High Adventure for 2012 is a 6-day Boundary Waters Canoe Trek leaving from Ely, MN. We can take one to three crews of 9 people. Each crew must have at least two adults. The canoe trek will be 6 days. Each Crew will plan its own Trek. Travel to and from Ely is by charter bus. Departure is at 6:00 p.m. on June 21, return is at noon on June 29. We are planning this Trek to share the Charter Bus with Troop 382, for ease of transportation. The information meeting is at Troop 382 meeting room on the right side of the parking lot behind the former Copley VFW Hall, 1278 Sunset Drive. Cost of the Trek is $700/person. Payment schedule starts in December. Scouts must be First Class Rank or higher, have one year or more as a Boy Scout, have camping experience and be deemed by the Scoutmaster to be capable of this Trek. Canoeing is one of the most enjoyable High Adventures, and one that can be offered to younger Scouts. Commitment deadline for this Trek is mid-December. All Troop 390 alums are invited, too. Come to the meeting to get the details!
