We invite you to join us for the 19th Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, March 3 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Fairlawn (across from Fairlawn Towne Centre). Our sauce is made from scratch. The Scouts are your table servers. The bake sale and parents’ basket raffle offer a sweet distraction. Dinner ticket prices are $7.50 for adults and $5.00 for kids (under 3 are free). This is the only fundraising event for the troop. Proceeds help support their good works and instruction – including gear and safety equipment for outings, activities that further develop leadership skills, and more. Plus, event support makes it possible for some scouts to take part in life-changing activities (such as summer camp, national high adventures, and other events) who otherwise could not afford to attend. With all you see in the news about the problems with today’s youth, it’s gratifying to see a strong group of young people committed to self-reliance, leadership and community service as are the Scouts of Troop 390.
