Summer Camp

Check-in day

It is very important that all prescription and over-the-counter drugs are brought to camp in their original containers. Any medication listed on the Health and Medical Record must be put in a zip lock bag and given to a leader.

Report to Camp Manatoc in uniform as we will be taking a Troop Summer Camp picture. Scouts  should not bring a personal tent, we use the Manatoc tents which are 7’ x 10’ canvas wall tents with wooden platforms, two Scouts per tent.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served in the Manatoc Dining Hall.

Meals for advancement requirements may be cooked and eaten at our Campsite. No food in tents.

Classes and Merit Badges must be pre-registered with the Troop before camp to reserve spots. Some classes have a small fee for material. That fee will be collected either before camp or upon returning home.

There are a number of merit badges and fun activities offered at Summer Camp. At Troop meetings leading up to camp, each Scout will choose the badges they wish to take, with Mr. Sroka's and Mrs. Nester's approval. A list of available merit badges will be handed out at a Troop meeting.

Checkout

Scouts will be picked up at Manatoc Sunday morning.
